Samsung Electronics has announced the Samsung Z3, a Tizen-based smartphone that offers powerful performance and easy customization. The 5-inch Super AMOLED Display delivers clearer and deeper images, along with the advanced 8 megapixel Bright Lens camera to capture more detailed images. ‘Ultra Power Saving Mode’ ensures continuous performance with low battery.
Super AMOLED Display and Camera Capabilities
The new smartphone is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730S CPU with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It weighs 137 Gramms and is 7.9mm thick. The 8 megapixel Bright Lens F2.2 rear-facing camera captures more light for clearer and more detailed images. The 5 megapixel front-facing camera featuers advanced selfie capabilities, it offers ‘Automatic Selfie’ for seamless selfies with facial recognition, ‘Beauty Face Mode’ that automatically retouches images for flawless skin and ‘Wide Selfie’ to capture up to 120 degrees of the users’ surroundings for the perfect group selfie shot.

Long Battery Life and Optimized Data Usage
The Samsung Z3’s long-lasting 2.600 mAh battery is complemented by a “Ultra Power Saving Mode,” which allows users continue using their phone for up to 33 hours with less than 10 percent of battery life. The new “Ultra Data Saving Mode” helps to reduce data usage by 40 percent through data compression.
The Samsung Z3 is relatively low priced at about 130 US-Dollars (INR 8490 in local currency) and will be available in India from October in Gold, Black and Silver.
